Big Boy rolled through town! So cool to see.

I made the 6 hour drive out to Chicago to go to the Genshin Impact concert. It was an incredible experience getting to hear the music of Teyvat from a live orchestra!

I also put together a playlist from the concert which you can find here.

I picked up the Horizon Zero Dawn LEGO set on a Black Friday deal, and what a neat build this is. The model makes for a great display piece.

It’s pretty great driving the biggest, baddest EV in town.

Mouth of the cave.

Crossing the Ohio, Part 2.

Crossing the Ohio.

Play well.

Iced chai is lovely on a hot day like today.

Great day for a roadeo.

Wild storm clouds today. The rain was very welcome!

I finally got around to finishing and hanging The Great Wave set. It’s a work of art! (pun intended) I really love the clever parts usage in the details of the wave and the people in the boats. I’m not even an art or history buff, but I’m super happy with this set.

It weighs a bit more than I’d like for the nails I have, so I’ll probably need a more permanent mounting solution pretty soon.

Wyrmwood x Dispel elemental dice arrived today! 🤩 I opted for the iridescent space dice and a cherry dice vault. They’re every bit as pretty as I hoped.

My weekend art project has been acquired!

Well, I caved. I thought having Japanese symbols on my keyboard was a novel idea, and it fit with the KAT Explosion theme well. Turns out it’s not great in practicality. It works fine for gaming, and okay for typing (and I’m not an expert touch typist, so that doesn’t help), but I ran into problems with anything that requires symbols such as coding or typing passwords. It’s time to swap out for some “normal” keycaps. I’m going to try switching just the numbers and symbol keys first, and leave the alphas in Japanese. We’ll see how that works and go from there.

So, Japanese symbols on an English keyboard: 4/10, do not recommend.
