🔗 muOS 2405.1 Refried Beans dropped today, with added support for the RG35XXSP!
🔗 Odin 2 Mini reviews seem to reinforce what I figured would be the case. It looks to be a great little handheld, but not worth buying if you already have have an Odin 2. I think it would be the perfect companion to a Steam Deck if you like the smaller size.
🔗 Kingdom Hearts is out on Steam today. Regular price $99.99 for the full pack, on sale for $68.99 until June 27.
🎮 Turns out I bought both the RG35XXH and RG35XXSP since I found a few coupon deals for a nice discount. We’ll see which one sticks, or if I end up finding different use cases for both of them.
🏎️ Put together the new Aston Martin Formula 1 LEGO set today while watching the Canadian GP qualifying. It’s pretty much the same as the McLaren set, with a few differences in the aero bits. Nice to see they paid attention to those little details.
🔗 Anbernic RG35XX SP: An Almost Beginner’s Guide
I’m writing this about two weeks after the SP officially released, and I’ve already seen multiple reports of users' batteries swelling up and failing.
It’s a bit of a bummer to hear about battery issues with the RG35XXSP. Still, I’m excited to pick one of these up once they get this worked out. I’ve been looking for something smaller and more pocketable than the Odin 2 and the SP sounds like it’s the one.
My Hatsune Miku Secret Lair showed up today, no shipping notification or anything. I got the Elvish Mystic bonus card, though it sounds like some on Reddit are reporting that Snapcaster Mage is a possibility too! Wish they would have just put that in the pack itself instead of being random.
🎮 3DS emulation is here on iOS with the latest update to Folium, which also runs GBA and DS games. It sounds like 3DS performance is not great, however, thanks to JIT not being supported on App Store apps. Maybe this will change with iOS 18? Please, Apple?
🍱 Naka-Kon was amazing! I can now say I’ve actually met a Love Live seiyuu. Thank you Aikyan for coming all the way out to the midwest for us!
iGBA is out now on the iOS App Store! The first of hopefully many emulators. I would love to see RetroArch here soon!
